Fall 2011

I've taken lots of pictures, I just haven't found the time to share them with you.  Hopefully, I can catch up this week.
These mushroom were growing near the end of our driveway and I just thought they were so pretty, this picture doesn't really do them justice.  The ones to the right had a blueish hue.  Mylie told me these were fairy umbrellas.
Here she is posing for the camera.  We had lots of dandelions as you can see.
This was one of three bucks that visited us this fall.  We don't usually see them.
It wasn't easy to get a picture of both of them by the giant pumpkin.  We went to the pumpkin patch with Meema again this year.  We've been to Shiloh Farms for our pumpkin every year since Mylie was born.
Finally at age four, Mylie got her first haircut.  TT (Tante Tiffany) cut her hair.  Mylie loved that she got to have an ice cream cone.
She needed a haircut.  Her hair was getting very tangled at the ends, so much so that brushing her hair was making her cry.  She doesn't fuss much now that she's gotten her hair cut and she likes it a lot.
We also spent lots of time at the park.  Mylie used to call this slide the fast slide and it wasn't her favorite, she hardly went on it.  Well, she conquered it toward the end of October and now it's a piece of cake.
This is one of my favorite spots at the park.  It's a great place to sit and watch the kids run around.
I tried to get a cute fall picture, but he was too busy, so this was the best one.
Mylie found some giant maple leaves to look at.
This picture is one of my favorites.
Shortly after turning 2, Micah began playing on the big kid structure.  This makes me nervous as it's much higher up than the little kid structure.
He also started sliding down the big kid slide.  This spiral slide is now Mylie and Micah's favorite slide at the park.
For Halloween Mylie dressed up as a bumblebee and Micah dressed up as a super hero.
 She really liked her costume.
 Micah liked his too.
This year Eric got to spend Halloween with us, it was really nice.  First we went to the Key Peninsula Civic Center for their Harvest Festival and played games.  We then headed to the Longbranch Improvement Club and played more games and went Trunk or Treating in their parking lot.  Both kids had a great time and got plenty of candy.
Our Jack-O-Lantern was designed by Mylie and carved by Eric.  She insisted it had a square mouth.  We put him on our back porch so that we could enjoy him from our den.  Where we live, there are no trick or treaters.  Three nights later a bear took him.  The lid was the only part of our pumpkin that remained on the back porch.  Mylie's reaction to the theft was "Mommy, he took our pumpkin and he didn't even ask."
The kids took a little walk down the driveway and down the road.  I think Mylie was looking for caterpillars while she was walking.
