We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent ours with family. Mylie enjoyed playing with her cousins and Micah enjoyed meeting many family members for the first time.
There is a story behind this first photo. Micah had been nursing and afterwards I was holding him and we were cuddling a bit. Mylie walks over and announces "my turn." She then says "I hold Micah," so I set her up in daddy's chair and placed Micah in her lap. She's beaming and I tell her how she's such a good big sister and what a big girl she is and how much Micah likes her. She then turns to me, smiles big, and says "cheese." I say "oh, do you want me to take your picture?" And she says "Yes." So, here it is.

It's been a bit chilly here in the Northwest. Temperatures haven't been much higher than 50. We've had a fire most nights. I built this fire, not too bad if I do say so myself, it was roaring. :)

I just thought this picture of Mylie eating was cute. She was eating pork loin that Eric had oven roasted. Makes me hungry just thinking about it.

Here's another picture of Mylie and Micah. I was trying to take his picture and she needed to get in on it. This isn't her natural smile, thank goodness. I remember when she was as small as him, seems so long ago.

Some days I wish I could stay in bed as long as the cat does. Yes, she has her head on my pillow and she's under the covers. She is spoiled. She sleeps with me every night.

I think this picture was taken last week. Mylie came into the room wearing daddy's jacket and asked me to zip it up. She loves to dress up. She had her pjs on underneath and was trying to look at her foot.

Here she is in another pair of pjs with her wings and one of her tutus. She posed for this picture.

She then got distracted and started playing with the magnetic numbers on the fridge.

Here's Micah getting a bath. Most of the time he was really easy going and seemed to enjoy it. However, he didn't seem to like his hair washed, neither does his sister. I love how you can see his tiny toes in this picture.

Here he is at one-month-old. He's such a big boy! He has super chubby cheeks and little rolls on this thighs. He's currently wearing size 3 month clothing and quickly growing out of it. At this rate none of it will fit him by Christmas.

I'm sharing this picture with you because as you can see in the picture he's got one of Mylie's "babies." She walked over to him and let him hold Hoggy. To you he may just be a little stuffed Piglet, but to her, he and Piggy(also a stuffed Piglet) are the world. I thought it was very special that she loves Micah so much that she wanted to share Hoggy with him. I told her that was so nice of her to share and later she let him hold Piggy too.

This picture was taken just a few days ago. (Don't mind the mess in the background.) Isn't he sweet? He takes his binkie (pacifier), every once in a while, though he prefers to nurse until he spits up.

Mylie looked so cute in this outfit yesterday that I just had to take her picture. Although she didn't stand still very long, as you can see. She was given this outfit last year by some dear friends and the little dress will soon be too small. I've got to get her to wear it as much as possible until then. She looked like Santa's little helper in the striped tights and well, she put on a green necklace to complete the look. :)

Micah is smiling a lot these days and cooing. This one was taken this morning.

Mylie was dancing around the den this morning. She was in such a good mood.

Micah was smiling at his big sister as she talked to him and poked at him. :)
Here's a little video clip of Micah smiling. Enjoy!
