Late Season Snow

These pictures were taken the very end of Feburary. We had very late season snow. This is after it began to melt a bit. We bundled up and played outside until they were both wet.

This was the first time Micah had walked in the snow all by himself. In November when it snowed, he wasn't walking much yet.
Not sure if you can tell, but this was Mylie's snow angel. She was very proud of it and insisted I take several pictures of it.

When everything is covered in snow like this, it seems almost magical. The bare trees look beautiful.

Micah seemed to enjoy himself quite a bit.

Mylie kept trying to throw snowballs at me. :)

December 2010

Well, it's been way too long since I last posted. Let me try to catch you up a bit.

In December we went to the tree farm and cut down our Christmas tree. There were lots to choose from. :)

It was quite cold and started to rain while we were looking for our tree.
This is our tree.

Right after this picture was taken, Micah fell off the rock they were sitting on. From smiles to frowns.

Mylie was so excited to get her picture taken with Santa, that is until it was actually time. Micah didn't understand what was going on, next year he will.

This is our Advent calendar/countdown til Christmas. I made it. I put a chocolate in each one and Mylie thought that was just great!

My mom and Mylie decorated a gingerbread house together for the second time. I think this is going to be a tradition.

Mylie kept stopping to taste test.

She placed each candy carefully.

Each piece was used.

Maybe next year Micah can help too.

This is on Christmas Eve at my mom and Frankie's home.

Later we put on our pjs and opened presents with daddy.

Eric takes the pictures so that he doesn't have to be in them.

Mylie got a very special card from Meema.
